About Pastor Dillon

Pastor Dillon is from Macon, Georgia where he graduated from Southwest HS in 1980. He enlisted in The US Air Force the next year and married Angie Simmons from Valdosta, Georgia. He spent the next 12 years on Active Duty at Shaw AFB, SC, Edwards AFB CA, and RAF Lakenheath in England. Pastor Dillon was also deployed to the Persian Gulf in support of Operations Desert Shield and Desert Storm. He was Honorably discharged from the USAF, at the rank of Tsgt, after having received many awards and decorations. The Dillon’s moved back to Macon, Georgia where Pastor Dillon worked at Robins AFB as a Civil Service Aircraft Mechanic.

In 2000, the Dillon’s moved to McDonough, GA when Pastor Dillon began working for AirTran Airlines. He would go on to work for Delta and Atlantic Southeast Airlines as well. Three years later, Pastor Dillon answered the call to become a Minister and was licensed with the United Pentecostal Church International (UPCI). He assisted Rev Steve Waldron at Acts Church of Henry County for 3 years and then moved to Olympia, WA to assist his Father-in-Law, Rev Frank Simmons, at Abundant Life Apostolic Church. In 2008, Pastor and Sister Dillon moved to Whidbey Island, Washington and founded the Oak Harbor United Pentecostal Church … where he is still the Senior Pastor today.

Pastor Dillon is also employed by the Boeing Aircraft Company in Everett, WA and is currently working on the 767 Preflight and Delivery Team. The Dillon’s have 2 children, 5 grandchildren, and a very special Tibetan Spaniel named Roxie.

  • Associate of Science in Aircraft Accessory Systems, Community College of the Air Force
